can be moody too..

results out!

18 august 2008
last nite.. lee chong wei lost badly to lin dan...
i kinda expected it.. cuz i always thought that lindan has always been a consistently good player..
and lee chong wei.. is more like the kinda lucky person..

it was quite obvious after the first set...
lin dan was so much more in control of the game...
lee chong wei kept showing more weaknesses as he played...

and true enough..
malaysia didnt get a single gold medal from the olympics 2008
well.. some ppl put the blame on lee chong wei..
others thought he was a hero.. defending with his might till his last breath.. (i mean till the game end)
and being the only medalist from malaysia.. would that be considered as a good achievement?

hmm... theres this other guy which i admire..
the US swimmer.. michael phelps or something... one man claim 11 gold medals?
cmon.. malaysia.. one silver from the whole squadron that went?
to me.. i think its a dissapointment..
sad to say..

then theres this other china athlete... liu xiang...
for.. erm.. i dunno whats it call.. the one that u run and leap over bars and bars and bars...
he got some old injury.. and due to that.. pulled out from that event...
half of the crowd in the birds nest left..
not being able to see him perform...
i'm sure he would have won something for that event..

and as for me.. i failed one of my papers..
and yes i'll be resitting for it again...
and i'm quite sure i can do better this time..
all the best to me..

and all of the malaysian's chosen one to perform better.. on the next open games..
i'm sure malaysia can do it.. some one is bound to...
as they say .. malaysia boleh ma..

results o results...

my CAT exam results will be out tmr..
whether i have to stop my current studies and resit for the paper failed
or whether i can move on as ACCA student all depends on this result..

i took the last 3 papers of CAT last sem..
when a person finished CAT level.. they are allowed to be advanced to ACCA level...
so now im currently 'in' ACCA classes.. expecting to be a pass student.. until i get my results..
if my results shows otherwise..
in other words if i fail any paper...
i will have to stop my classes now.. take back the classes that ive gone through... and resit for the paper...
it doesnt sound that bad.. but i'll only be able to resit during december's sitting...
their exams are only done every half a year...
so if i fail.. i'll be basically wasting half a year just to resit one failed paper...
imagine resiting and failing again.. that'll be wasting one year just for one paper...

which means.. more money and more time... total loss and liability...
the fees that i paid for this sem.. some of it will be incurred... and only small portion of it will be allowed to be transfered...

if i pass however.. would mean that i have to buck up right away on my current studies...
as i haev been slacking away for the past one and a half month...
without knowing the results is like uncertain of where and what you'll do...
not like i'm a super bright kid that knows that...
"ha, i'm gonna pass.. dun have to worry!"

i'm more of the borderline.. which makes it very uncertain...
questions arose..
what if i fail?
what if i pass?
what if i did my best for this one and a half month and fail?
what if i slacked and passed?
how am i suppose to catchup if i passed?
how am i suppose to face my parents if i fail?
will i be seperated with my classmates?
will i be alone?

and all these griefs will come to an end tmr..
when i get my results.. everything would be clear...

i hope.

taylors indoor ultimate.

Got to know of a frisbee competition that taylors organised...
and finally we managed to get a team...
so we went last sunday..
it was held in a badminton court...
err.. michaels badminton academy.. very big place.. so we played indoor ultimate..

me.. excited..

oh.. ravyen, one of the three girls that went with us.. and became observers/camera womans..

hmm.. and i guess i wont be commenting much on the pics...
it'll very much be the same..
just enjoy the pics..
owh.. and the sad part is.. the pics are small.. so you wont be able to see clearly..
however.. it'll be clearer if u try to squint.. =p
look out for colourful striking plastic plates that people are risking their lives to get a hold of it..
and occasionally spot me in action.. wakakaka..

okay... i have to pause here awhile to make some comments..

i think maeyans muscle also big adi.. carry that huge/big/humoungus/large/heavy.. but chunted camera.. hahaha

and so..

wait..

WAIT...

i forgot.. okay...

so the games were play in a league system....

we were separated into 2 pools...

and we played against the teams in the same pool...

there were 4 teams in a pool

so we fought wildcats, manawave and U8 soar.

we lost to wildcats 4-5

lost to manawave 4-6

and made a comeback against U8soar.. 10-5

well.. u see.. after two tight games that we lost.. we thought that.. its now or never....

anyway.. U8soar is actually a team from usj8 school.. they play well..

but we cannot afford anymore losses..

so we tried.. and won..

after the pooling...

we will play againts the other pool.. by crossing teams..

so we fought with the same rank on the other pool...

which was TFK.. taylors flying knights.. or was it frisbee.. dont remember.. i only remember TFK... lol..

we whooped them err.. i dunno the score.. lost count... 10+ to 3 i think..

we were at our peak la.. lol.. and taylors just finished a match b4 that game.. so probably they were tired...

owh.. forgot to mention.. people keep throwing the frisbee.. hitting the lights at the badminton court... LOL... its damn hilarious.. when everytime a frisbee hits a light.. there will be two shuttlecocks that come flying down... probably stuck there for some time..

and amazingly... no lights were broken on that day..

although i made many attempts at the lights... LOL

but the lights still wont budge... there was only one time when i hit one.. and it offed awhile.. and went back on...

high durability sial...

so our last game.. will be againts the better of the crossing team... which.. in this case.. U8soar won the other team.. so we had to face them again.. for the 5th and 6th placing..

so we were like thinking.. cannot lose la.. cuz we won them b4...

if we were to lose.. means we will be damn useless...

and so...

they put up a good show... both teams played fairly well..

the score was always tight... 4-5 7-6 8-8..

and the time ended with 10-10

we had to continue... the team who scores next win...

and by luck or by skill... somehow.. the last throw was fantastic... curving out of the court... and coming back in to the scoring zone.. ethan caught it.. held it tight.. and we won that match...

ending the day with 5th place... went back home.. quite satisfied.. as we were one of the newbie teams.. joining the first ever competition for us.. and exposing ourselves to the frisbee community...
